On the evening of poetry dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia foreign poets read poems in Italian, Turkish, Russian and Jewish languages. As it is known, over the years, guests, visiting Georgia, got acquainted with the history of Georgian nation in the family of Aleksandre Chavchavadze.  This time, it was the poetry, which united culture and traditions of different countries

Distinguished representatives of contemporary literature visited Tsinandali by invitation of the poet Davit Maghradze, among whom were: Mehmet Altun, Davide Rondoni, Valery Popov, Tatiana Groznaya, Daniel Oz. The social evening was held within the frameworks of the festival of wine and art, and it is planned to continue the festival in the future. “This fantastic evening, which is a very important event for Tsinandali and poetry in general, was dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia. With the help of my friends Giorgi Ramishvili and Giorgi Kharabadze we invited representatives of contemporary poetry and acquainted Georgian readers with their art”, stated Davit Maghradze, who read translations of foreign poetry and some new poems from the book of poems “Usadauro”.
